Big White Ski Resort is one big winter playground. Here, at Canada’s largest totally ski-in/ski-out resort village, you’ll find loads of deep Okanagan powder (25 feet annually), 16 lifts, 119 runs, and 1,147 hectares (2,765 acres) of skiable terrain for powderhounds of all ages and abilities.
Cross-country skiers and snowshoers can choose from 25 kilometres (16 miles) of Nordic and dog-friendly wilderness trails, while families can add tubing, dogsledding, snowmobiling, horse drawn sleigh rides, and skating to their winter holiday. The resort also has a full calendar of fun family events from weekly fireworks to the family-favourite “Moose Cruz” where skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to track down clues throughout the mountain, via their phones.

- Jul 11, 2025: “This likely is a nice resort…..in the winter. In the summer it is a construction zone with little to offer unless you mountain bike. A few signs to find the main village would not hurt either. I believe based on local advertising they are aiming to be an all year round resort a la Whistler or Blue Mountain in Ontario. They have work to do, add the drive time from Kelowna and visit during the winter only.” 0
- May 1, 2025: “Super domaine skiable. Pistes très chouettes, neige de qualité incroyable. La station offrent plusieurs boutiques on l’on trouve tout ce qu’il faut : matériel de ski, vêtements, souvenirs, alimentation. Des bars, restaurants… Attention, la signalétique des pistes n’est pas la même qu’à France. Les pistes vertes sont plus des bleues et les bleus sont des rouges, voire rouges foncé avec parfois des murs très pentus. Les prix des remontées mécaniques sont très élevés. Le double de ce que l’on peut trouver dans les Alpes.” 1
- Mar 9, 2025: “This was our family’s 2nd trip to BW! We stayed at the Stonebridge inn-nice condo,easy ski in-out,private hot tub. We barely got accommodations this year! great trail grooming,not too crowded. We took lessons w ski school-great venue for kids and adults-Thank you Regan! The dog sledding was fabulous-2nd time and thank you to Tim and Karrie-We loved all the dogs too! another highlight was the sleigh ride dinner-thank you Lindsey and staff for a special evening. I enjoyed the Kelsey Serwa special women’s ski day. Thanks to the rental shop for good equipment to ski and snowshoe with. Vivid tour shuttle got our family to BW and made a grocery stop for us!” 2
